Chief Engineer – 5 Hotel Locations: Vancouver, BCSalary: 100,000About the Client: Our client is 5 Hotel who offers elegant accommodations, top-tier amenities, and stunning city views in Vancouver BC. They are searching for a Chief Engineer to oversee the maintenance and operation of all engineering facilities. Responsibilities: Overseeing the maintenance and operation of all engineering facilities Managing a team of technicians and engineering staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation Developing and implementing preventative maintenance programs to ensure the ongoing functionality of equipment and facilities Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and maintaining a safe work environment for staff and guests Managing the budget for the engineering department, including forecasting expenses, monitoring spending, and identifying cost-saving opportunities Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience is preferred Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry Strong technical knowledge and understanding of building systeminteractionperience managing a team of engineering staff, including hiring, training, and performance management Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues quickly and effectively Knowledge of regulatory requirements and safety standards related to building operations and maintenance If you’d like to hear more about this exciting opportunity, please get in touch with Declan today at Declan@Note that candidates must have the right to live and work in Canada to be considered.
