About the Job: The Compliance Auditor reports to the Senior Compliance Specialist. The Compliance Auditor will be responsible for reviewing all resident files for National CORE. RES PO NSIBI L I T IES Review, complete and ensure all move-in files are reviewed within 24 hours. Review, complete and ensure all annual recertification files within 72 hours. Assist the Compliance Specialist with lease up's and onsite file reviews as needed. Must be able to work some weekends and extended hours as needed. Attend company sponsored events that relate to the development of the team, which from time to time may include overnight stays at locations away from the employee's home. Must attend seminars, trainings and workshops related to compliance. SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS Must have working knowledge of Windows, Office 2000, Excel, Word and Outlook. Must have working knowledge of LIHTC, HUD and HOME. Possess a high attention to detail to conduct file audits onsite and remotely. Must be able to prioritize. Must be able to work some weekends and extended hours. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Comprehend and follow instructions. Be at team player. EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION Must have 2-5 years previous experience in affordable housing compliance or affordable property management. Must be able to pass the Tax Credit and COS certification within 1 year of being hired. Yardi experience a plus. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT Operate computer and office equipment.
