Marketing Manager

This individual is responsible for providing support to the resort with a focus on communication projects to promote organizational clarity, work with marketing partners, and execute initiatives directly related to the promotion of key revenue centers, including the outlets such as Bistro 2two2, banquets and catering, bars, in-room dining, and seasonal outdoor venues. The Marketing Manager will also support the Sales Department in developing strategic support materials to drive corporate, group, and leisure markets in both print and digital media. This position reports to the General Manager but will work closely with many members of the executive and senior leadership teams to execute marketing & communications initiatives. Role will also manage partnerships, content, reporting and collateral across all disciplines. Responsibilities:• Work with the hotel’s marketing and communications team and the marketing agency to help deliver all direct mail, advertising creative, brochures, and collateral production• Design and development graphic design projects for marketing and internal promotions• Look for internal stories to showcase within the organization and through online, social media, and other communication tools• Assist in managing content and telling a cohesive brand story across all Hotel channels• Assist the General Manager and Director of Sales to coordinate and execute the annual marketing plan and budget for social media • Create and distribute compelling social content across the Eden Resort’s digital platforms, including new and emerging sites. • Coordinate and run social campaigns from concept to execution, with post campaign performance analysis• Assist in development and execution of promotions and packages • Work alongside Executive Team to generate concepts for special events and activities to create memorable experiences for guests• Participate in weekly Marketing Meetings to facilitate hotel promotional opportunities• Ensure all content is on-brand Qualifications: ESSENTIAL SKILLS: • Ability to manage complex content calendars across brand and promote local events and offerings• Understanding of print production processes and best practices when it comes to design, photography, illustration, typography, and social media/digital copywriting• Understanding of social media strategies, optimization and managing social media agencies; and interpreting and reporting on results of various campaigns.• Ability to interact with all levels within the organization• Proactive and self-motivated • Collaborative • Excellent oral and written communication skills EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: · Bachelor’s degree required· 5+ years of communication/marketing experience with an emphasis on content marketing· 5+ years of experience using Adobe Suite, or other digital design tools· Video editing skills is a plus PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: · May be required to stand or sit for long period of time· Ability to lift at least 30 pounds Compensation: $60,000 - $70,000 yearly About Company: The Eden Resort & Suites offers a collection of unique and up-scale guest rooms and suites, unsurpassed on-site recreational facilitates, and exceptional staff ready to meet guests' needs.
