Practice Area: Family Law - General, Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 10 Years, A law firm based in Hillsboro, OR, is seeking a Senior Family Law Attorney III with over 10 years of law practice experience, preferably with an established book, practice, and/or performance. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating 50% of their own billable work and should have a proven track record of mediation and trial experience, strong research and analytical skills, and proficiency in drafting legal documents. The candidate must possess excellent communication and advocacy skills, manage their schedule effectively, actively engage in brand expansion activities, and demonstrate leadership qualities. Duties:Generate 50% of billable workMediate disputes and represent clients in trialsResearch and analyze complex legal issuesDraft memorandums, briefs, letters, and other legal documentsMarket legal services to prospective clientsPerform discovery of electronically stored data and hard copies of informationConduct due diligence in all mattersManage schedule for consultations and closure of consultsClose consultations within Gravis range of 30-50%Ensure timely approval of invoicesUtilize and supervise support staff effectivelyUpdate client management system with relevant informationEngage in brand expansion through blogs, social media, board participation, etc.Seek positive feedback and reviews from clientsPerform other job-related duties as assigned Requirements:10+ years of law practice experienceEstablished book, practice, and/or performance preferredSuccessful record of mediation experienceSignificant and successful trial experienceJuris Doctor degree from an American Bar Association accredited law schoolAdmission (or eligibility for reciprocal admission) to the bar in the state of practice Skills:Strong communication and advocacy skillsProficiency in legal research and writingEmpathetic listening skillsEffective time management and schedulingMarketing and business development skillsLeadership qualities Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an American Bar Association accredited law school Certifications:Admission (or eligibility for reciprocal admission) to the bar in the state of practice Benefits:Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance401(k) plan with company matchingUnlimited paid time off for vacation/sick daysPaid Federal HolidaysUp to 16 hours annually of paid volunteer time off
