Job Description **Job Description: Managing Veterinarian** **Job Description:** Our client in the Veterinary industry is seeking an experienced and dedicated Managing Veterinarian to lead their hospital team. This role involves overseeing both the medical and operational aspects of the hospital, ensuring the delivery of high-quality veterinary care and exceptional client service. The successful candidate will work closely with the Hospital Manager to drive financial performance, operational efficiency, and practice growth while fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment. **Experience/Qualifications:** - A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent from an accredited university is required. - Must have licensure in good standing to practice in the state of employment. - A proven track record of practicing the highest standard of medicine, upholding veterinary ethics, and demonstrating outstanding communication skills. - Experience in leading, coaching, and managing veterinary professionals is essential. - A minimum of five years of veterinary experience, with at least two years in a leadership or managerial role preferred. **Responsibilities:** - Provide medical leadership by overseeing surgical and medical cases, establishing medical protocols, and ensuring the highest standards of care. - Manage associate veterinarians and support staff, including recruitment, performance monitoring, and professional development. - Collaborate with the Hospital Manager on financial and operational management, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue growth initiatives. - Drive practice growth through patient visits, community involvement, and support of marketing and growth initiatives. - Ensure regulatory compliance and uphold ethical practices within the hospital. **Benefits:** - Competitive salary and benefits package. - Opportunities for professional development and continuing education. - A supportive and dynamic work environment focused on team collaboration and professional excellence.
