Scheduler (Fixed Term Contract)Industry: Property Maintenance Location: Ryde Hours: 40 hours per week Days: Monday - Friday Duration: 12 month Fixed Term Contract Duties: Reporting to the Contract Manager, ensure all works are efficiently and effectively managed from receiving the order, to completion, Supervise a small team of administrative staff, oversee scheduling and costing, Planning and anticipating capability to meet demands through resourcing of operatives and sub contractors, Ensuring allocation of the correct labour based upon skills, availability and locality to meet response times and minimise travel and unproductive time, Manage Operative annual leave and training requirements, Monitor appointment status and ensuring the job management systems used to deliver the service are maintained, complete and provide job updates, performance data and reports, Manage the complaints and recall process, highlighting issues or trends of poor quality or productivity. Experience: Must have previous experience of working within an Operations role of a property maintenance contract, including basic knowledge of construction trades and the tasks/activities undertaken, Must have experience of managing a small team of staff and the ability to work as a team, Must be capable of organising resources and prioritising workload to ensure targets are met, Must have strong, clear communication skills and the ability to motivate and problem solve, Must have good geographical knowledge of the Isle of Wight.
