About Our Opportunity The successful candidate will be reporting to the Museum’s Marketing and Events Officer and be trained in general museum operations and safety procedures, orientation to exhibits and visitor experience activities. The Museum Community Events Assistant will work on promotional and community event communications involving on-site and online activities (e. g. social media, photography/video and graphic design. ) Written and oral communications will be key to accurately research and build content on current museum exhibits, CSS Acadia , and seasonal activities and community initiatives. They will assist in raising the online profile of the museum in various web and digital projects; contribute using resourceful, creative, and innovative methods to market the busy summer tourist season of museum programs and activities.
